for People Managers

Build Skills in a Brave Space

A Community of Practice is a regular space for people managers to come together to unpack challenges and learn from one another as they increase their capacity for managing from an inclusive and equitable lens. Sessions are focused on skill building, with accountability to practice applying skills between sessions built into the meeting agendas. We will also introduce a consultancy protocol to support deep thinking about live challenges community of practice members are experiencing.

Topics include: 

  • Giving and receiving feedback

  • Implicit bias

  • Slowing down and implementing equity pauses

  • Coaching skills

  • Accountability

  • Transparent decision making

Through participating in the Community of Practice, people managers will experience a high level of support and community, which will increase retention and engagement. Managers will also skill-up to be better able to support their teams, resulting in increased employee retention, engagement, and innovation at all levels of your organization.
